DIOR X HARRODS
THE FABULOUS WORLD OF DIOR AT HARRODS

Continuing our successful collaboration with Dior, we joined forces once again to bring their fabulous annual Christmas event to life, held this year at Harrods in London. 
 
Inspired by keywords like "gingerbread" and "magical factory," and drawing references from classics such as Wallace and Gromit and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, we embarked on a journey to craft and hand out visual delights for visitors at Harrods.




INSIGHT

The objective was to bring a modern twist and humor to Dior's massive takeover of Harrods, which featured dozens of showcases displaying every iconic Dior product. 
To achieve this, we needed to quickly understand and extend the event's art direction. Our mission was to direct two animations centered around the concept of a magical Dior factory.





CHALLENGE

The challenge was to bring Dior products into a magic and playful world while showcasing their exceptional craftsmanship.





SOLUTION

The solution involved integrating unique elements from all the references we gathered and discussed with the client into a sensible and coherent display.
For example, the idea of a conveyor belt was inspired by an early Walt Disney movie about Christmas. Additionally, the gingerbread theme and its icing became a cornerstone of the visual vocabulary. By adding cartoonish elements and movement, we infused a lighter touch that resonated with the Christmas theme.
By carefully weaving these elements together, we created a harmonious and captivating presentation that delighted visitors and perfectly aligned with the client's vision.
