PASTORAL HOOD
TANK MAGAZINE
Pastoral Hood kicked off from the idea of building an idealistic and poetic 3D map of Los Angeles while experimenting with "street photogrammetry".
In collaboration with Tank Magazine, a fashion and contemporary art magazine, we scanned the model and embedded her into a selection of realistic backgrounds. By exploring two dimensions—from 3D scans to classic photography—Pastoral Hood is part of an ongoing experiment, designed to explore new techniques and adopt them in a playful way, with the intention of democratizing these methods.
